Jessie Has Done It Again

My friend Jessie is lovely person and an outstanding artist who works in a variety of mediums including acrylics, watercolors, and pen and ink. Her use of color is amazing. From ACEOs to art prints to handmade cards, every piece is a work of art to be cherished.

This ACEO is one in a set of 3. Jessie was inspired by those old movie theater concession stand commercials, where the soda and popcorn sing "Let's all go to the Lobby". Visit her Etsy Shop and you won't be disappointed!

Barbara graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art with a BFA in painting and received her MFA from Brooklyn College. Her paintings and drawings are about light, color, air, touch and the experience of painting. They are painted directly from life. She has participated in numerous shows, been featured in many publications, won a number of awards and is gallery represented.

My brother, Bob, is a well known East Coast painter with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in painting from The Maryland Institute College of Art. He paints the American landscape directly from nature with the objective of conveying the experience of life, light and movement to the viewer. He has participated in many exhibitions and is gallery represented. Click the pic for a larger view.

Beautiful Spring Butterfly Card by Creative Hands

This card features a hand-stamped butterfly and flowers on three different backgrounds: the white and dark mauve cardstock rectangles sit atop the floral background paper. The interior of the card is blank for your personal message. The card measures 5.5" x 4.25", opens from the bottom upwards, and comes with a matching white envelope. The envelope also bears a single butterfly in the lower left-hand corner.
