Red Boat by Robert Knudsen

Red Boat

My brother, Bob, is a well known East Coast painter with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in painting from The Maryland Institute College of Art. He paints the American landscape directly from nature with the objective of conveying the experience of life, light and movement to the viewer. He has participated in many exhibitions and is gallery represented. Click the pic for a larger view.

I chose to feature Red Boat because it reminds me of the many happy times we spent at Deep Creek Lake in Western Maryland. You can see more of Bob's work at American Paintings Online

  1. Love this impressionistic scene!

  2. This is just gorgeous! We used to have a camp on a place called Magnolia Lake. This could be that place! This painting stirs up such happy memories!
